Unlike past Robins, Tim Drake's rise to Boy Wonder did not come from personal tragedy. Put simply, Tim was always very smart, and after watching Dick Grayson perform and Nightwing fight, he put two and two together and discovered the secret identity of both Nightwing and Batman. After Jason Todd's death, he was taken on as the third Robin, and helped Batman fight crime until he could become a true superhero.
