Proto Man is the first Robot Master created by Dr. Light and is considered the "brother" to Mega Man and Roll. He first appeared in Mega Man 3 training him to see if he could beat Wily, aiding Mega Man in his fight against evil.

Robot Master - immune to Bleeding, Poison, Bio attacks, and Fried Circuits

Proto Shield - chance to block attacks, taking reduced damage. Chance to protect allies from single-target and area attacks. Deflects ranged attacks, damaging the attacker. Immune to Cornered, Off-Balance, and Winded.

E-Tank - recharging heals you completely. Refreshes every three rounds.

  • (allies) Agile - evasion increased by 25%

Level 6 - Point-Blank

  • Gun Melee
  • One Enemy
  • (special) Rapid Fire - may perform a follow-up Proto Buster. Guaranteed to perform this follow-up against cornered enemies.
  • (special) High Crits - high chance to crit
  • (enemy) Shield Breaker - removes and prevents shields.
  • (enemy) Cornered - cannot protect allies
  • (allies) Strengthened - attack increased by 25%

Level 9 - Shield Throw

  • Ranged Vibranium
  • All enemies
  • 1 round cooldown
  • (special) Exploit Opportunity - does extra damage to enemies with Impaired, Neutralized, Exhausted, Staggered, Cornered, Winded, Hobbled, or Off-Balance.
  • (enemy) Impaired - attacks do 20% less damage and cannot crit
  • (allies) Fortified - defense increased by 25%
