EXALT MEDIC
EXALT Medic is a new enemy in XCOM: Enemy Within. EXALT Medics are almost have no difference than the Operatives. EXALT Medics and Operatives uses the same weapon, but without a Frag Grenade. However, due to the fact this EXALT Soldier is a medic, the Frag Grenade is replaced with Smoke Grenades, which can increase a fellow ally's defense. EXALT Medic is also a little bit talented at Overwatching and reaction shots. Instead of taking one reaction shot, EXALT Medic takes two. EXALT Medic however, even when the duties are as a medic, these soldiers some times don't even care about fellow EXALTs. If EXALT Medics are down to a really low health, they will use Medikits on themselves while another EXALT nearby is injured. However, they are trained to bring 3 Medikits all at once. Like all EXALTs, if they are tried to be captured, they will commit suicide. And like all EXALT soldiers, EXALT Medics has elite versions which use Laser weapons and genetic modification. Other than those, EXALT Medics has the lowest aim in the game, even lower than the Floater.

    • Removes Debuffs: Removes any debuffs that are inflicted at the target.
    • Pain Relaxation: If the target is inflicted with Pain, the Pain is removed and grants the target Strengthened.

Covering Fire

  • Buff
  • Buffs all allies.
  • Buff gun.
  • Grants:
    • (Self)Effect BG 3 GreenEffect Icon 019Covering Fire: Automatically counters enemies that are going to attack twice in the same turn the enemy is going to attack.
